Bottom – Additions
This lovely colonial home nestled back off the street was in Mother Nature’s way at the wrong time. The customer’s backyard, three-season, sun room was damaged to the point of no return. Rather than replacing it, we took another approach. By using the existing foundation and footprint, we were able to design something fresh and new. We married the existing house with the customers vision by taking out a wall and opening it up to the sitting room, with crown molding and custom-designed wainscoting to match the character and details built into the existing small sitting area. Now it is a large, beautiful four season room. The floors were newly tiled to perfectly match in both the new and existing sitting area. It now boasts a cathedral 1×6 tongue-and-groove painted, pine ceiling. New windows were installed, adding plenty of natural light into the room. Now it looks like it was always meant to be: a sunny, roomy, getaway, heated with a propane fire stove for the customer to enjoy all year round.
To All Prospective Clients:
Through a very close friend Pat Perkins was recommended to us as the ideal contractor to construct our new sun room.
The experience from onset was harmonious, productive and professional.
We found Pat to be a contractor who truly felt a deep and sincere identity for the people he was working with and the project itself.
We quickly discovered that when Pat outlines what is to be done, how it is to be done, and why it is to be done, you could rest assured it would be done that way for he is a man of his word.
Pat Perkin’s vision of what the ideal contractor should be are immediately manifested in the vetted skills of his workmen as well as the impeccable equipment he sends to the job site; no detail no matter how seemingly inconsequential is left unaddressed.
On of the services he provides is a weekly updated communication as well as a personal site visit.
He scrutinizes every detail, and, if it does not please him, he has his men redo it. In a similar manner he is always available if you want to speak with him.
In essence, in a world too often typified by glib assurances unjustified, Pat Perkins stands alone as a man who honestly feels that his word is his bond.
